Mon/Wed/Fri – Teacher Kaylan, B.Ed.

Hi,

My name is Teacher Kaylan, and I am thrilled to be your teacher! I have my Bachelor of Education Degree from the University of Alberta, and my Early Childhood Education Diploma from MacEwan University. I have been teaching preschool for the last 5 years and have worked in the Early Learning Field for the last 13 years! It is going to be a fun year full of new adventures. My favorite things about preschool are singing, playing games, and doing science experiments. We will play together, read together, make friends, and even do a few in school and out of school field trips!

I have one adorable 7-month-old son named Callum who loves to smile and laugh. My husband Simon is a Boiler Maker and enjoys taking the family out on walks, hikes, or other outdoor adventures. Our cat Willow completes our family. I enjoy spending time outdoors, working out, Zumba, play the occasional video game, sing karaoke, and get together with friends.

My mission is to inspire you to love learning and to promote strong confident learners, through hands on learning experiences. Preschool allows children the opportunity to learn social skills and develop a love of learning.
