Program Information

Get closer to animals from around the world! We will discover exotic animals, as well as some from closer to home, as we go on a globetrotting tour without ever leaving Edmonton. We will meet some of the animals up close, and even get a chance to touch a few, as we learn how we (and the zoo) can help animals all over the world.

Program Objectives

1. To introduce students to animals from different parts of the world.
2. To gain an appreciation for the diversity of animals and their habitats.
3. To encourage attitudes of respect and concern for animals and their environment
